Permission follows the work
A person may be allowed to read a customer record but not export it. They may prepare a payment but need approval to send it. Useful permissions describe actions and limits, not only screens. Supervisor checks the requested action against the role and the current context.
Ask only when risk changes
Constant approval requests train people to click through. Reserve review for meaningful changes such as a larger amount, a new destination, or unusual access. Routine work can continue inside clear limits while higher risk work stops with an explanation.
Make denial useful
A blocked action should say which rule applied and what the person can do next. They may request a reviewer, reduce the scope, or supply missing information. Clear recovery keeps a safety control from becoming an invisible wall.
