Supervising field work

Keep routes, visits, checks, and blockers visible without another meeting.

The route is only part of the work

Field operations combine travel, customer access, materials, proof, and changing priorities. A map can show where someone is going, but it cannot explain whether the visit is ready. Supervisor brings the route together with the job record and the latest messages.

Give the field team a complete stop

Each visit should contain the address, contact, expected task, required material, and proof needed to close the work. When one part changes, the person on the route should see it before arriving. That removes avoidable calls and failed visits.

Escalate with context

A blocker needs more than a red status. Show what failed, what the operator already tried, and who can resolve it. Supervisor can route the issue while preserving photos, notes, and timing, so the next person begins with evidence instead of a summary from memory.
